Charities (and other fundraisers) interested in taking part were invited to our launch meeting on Wed 6th April. At this meeting some changes were explained, and application packs taken by those who were interested.
We will not be sending application forms out by email this year so application has to be directly to a member of the team. The closing date was 27th May, so I’m afraid any late-comers are welcome to apply to go on the waiting list. Come and see us at the Festival Desk in church every Thursday between 10.30 and 11.30am.
Applicants will be informed by the end of June if they have been lucky, or are on the waiting list – we usually have a few charities drop out each year and you might be lucky!
We are hoping to have our new entrance completed by the time of the festival – the Anglican Church is tangled in red tape and works very slowly! If the timing is wrong, then the building works will be delayed until next year and we will have more space for trees. Keep an eye on the website for more information
We are sorry, but due to COVID concerns, it is essential that any coach, school or youth groups book well in advance. This is to avoid clashes and to safeguard against overcrowding.
Bookings are open from now on (except for lunches). Please email us at email@example.com or ring 01328 864685
The CTF Team will, at all times, insist on adherence to whatever COVID guidelines are in place at the time. We reserve the right to cancel the event if government guidelines in force at the time make this necessary, but hopefully by then, that will be extremely unlikely.
If you need to contact us please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone 01328 864685 or 07999 532002. You can come to the Christmas Tree Festival desk in church between 10.30 & 11.30am on any Thursday.
We could have sat down and wept for the loss to our community of the Christmas Tree Festival!
Thank you for your inspiration and creativity which has given rise to 2020’s virtual Festival.
Bless the charities taking part and all who work for the good of others, here and elsewhere.
May we all feel your presence and your love upholding us through these difficult times and always.
